our story —

Wildcard was the brainchild of three coffee lovers - one enthusiastic professional, two enthusiastic consumers. Born in Kensal Rise in 2018, the idea was pretty simple: serve great coffee, great food, and great vibes to the local community. We brought the same idea to our second site in the historic Granary Building in 2021, via a brief pop-up on Portobello Road in 2020.

our coffee —

We serve seasonal, single-origin coffee. Our house and regular guest espresso beans are supplied by Quarter Horse. We also frequently feature single-origin beans from exciting guest roasteries on our retail shelves.

Quarter Horse Coffee ethically sources and roasts the highest quality beans from around the world and, in 2023, opened a dedicated new site for production and training with a focus on sustainability. Find out more about Quarter Horse here.
